Damour Design is a practice established in 2009 by Elias Saleh, and has since been growing due to the firms strong belief in the design and creation of built form which not only serves as enclosure but also a space which expresses the individual and a place that the person can identify with. A space which has its own unique identity and feel, particular and relating to its user at all times. Thus, the firm believes in the involvement of the client in the design process to ensure the spaces created are unique and identify with the individuals needs.
About the Director
Elias’s experience in the field prior to the establishment of Damour Design began with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Architecture (UTS), after which he then went on to work with Dickson Rothschild a Nationally and Internationally well known Architectural firm where he worked on interesting projects of different sizes and types ranging from residential, commercial, sporting facilities, retail, community and government projects, having the privilege to work along side well known Architects in the industry such as Debra and Nigel Dickson. He then went on to complete his Masters in Architecture (UTS), and began working with Design Cubicle, a firm located in the heart of Parramatta which had a primary focus on residential in which he was particularly interested. After a couple of years, he decided to leave and establish Damour Design, which has since been growing and building relationships with clients of all types. The firms strong belief in the involvement of the client in the design process to ensure the spaces created are unique and identify with the individuals needs has been the basis of Damour Design’s success.
